The Wayfarer San Diego Hotel, San Diego

I had a beautiful ocean view from the room, and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to shops and restaurants with private beach access. The room was a bit chilly due to excess cold air and had some odors of feet and wet towels. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was enjoyable.

I decided to pay a little extra for privacy from the kids, but the room turned out to be really small and set far back from the boardwalk. Although it had an ocean view, it was not as spacious as depicted in the pictures. Overall, the experience had its ups and downs.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and had a small lanai with chairs and a table, but they needed remodeling considering the price charged. The service was top-notch with extremely helpful and friendly staff, although the dining options were limited. The location was vibrant and exciting, right by the boardwalk and close to various attractions, but dining availability was a downside.

Dining in the hotel, despite the high room rate, offered well-prepared food, including various salads. The facilities were convenient, but notably missing a specific comment.

The facilities, including the pool area, were well-maintained ensuring a pleasant stay.
